1. What is the OCF?
It stands for the Overseas Christian Fellowship. We are basically a group catered for international students (although local Australians can still join).
2. What church is it under?
OCF is a non-denominational organisation, but we are part of the church as a whole. Christians from all backgrounds are most welcomed to join.
3. Can Catholics and non-Christians join?
Certainly! We have a special group catering for non-Christians during bible study called a Discovery Group.
4. What are OCF programmes?
- Prayer meet
- Praise and worship God
- T-time (testimonies and sharing)
- Announcements
- Bible study or Sermon
- Special programmes (Easter Camp, Winter Camp, Games Day, Men/Women’s Night, E-Night)
- Cell outings
5. When does OCF meet?
At the moment, the OCF is rather new in Berwick and we’ll be starting our first semester next year as one of the clubs here in Monash Berwick (you’re one of the pioneers!). Next year, we plan to meet in uni every Wednesday, at 5.30pm, though it must be said that this arrangement may change depending on the availability of students during those times.
In Clayton, the OCF meets at 7pm in the Rotunda (R5).
